Strangely enough now that we are in September and the weather should be starting to take a turn for the worst in typical British fashion it’s done the complete opposite. The start of September has been rather lovely (in London anyway) and so winter jackets are probably the least of your worries right now, however if you are like me and like to plan ahead or plan for the worst because British weather is oh so unpredictable then I’ve picked out 10 lovely jackets!

Granted, most of these jackets are way above the majority of peoples price ranges but of course, it doesn’t hurt to have a look or get inspired. Given the current shearling aviator jacket trend courtesy of burberry I have yet to find a decent, affordable option for men, however there are some rather lovely pricer options in the form of A.P.C and acne and if money is not an issue then the real deal itself. More affordable jacket options however are the river island double breasted jacket and the weekday parka which I am currently lusting after even though I have a perfectly good parka already. Although the Barbour would be a good investment piece as they can be re-waxed year after year. Dream options of course would be both of the amazing burberry options and maybe the A.P.C or Acne numbers.
