About this time every year I always start to think about my winter wardrobe. The autumn collections have started to go into stores and all I can think about is jackets, jumpers, boots and other things probably not deemed suitable for August… Although given the state (rain, rain, rain) of the weather in London currently one might have to give that statement a second thought. Every winter I’m always in search of the perfect boot, the fact that I’m still continuing this search many years on probably means I’ve yet to find it but I have found some pretty close contenders…
Ultimately my favorites are the Leather explorer boot by Burberry and the artic boot by Common Projects, with the Topman LTD pair in a close third. However the more affordable and probably wisest choice out of all these boots is the Dr Marten 8 hole boot. It’s classic, never goes out of fashion and is practical, not to mention it’s price tag won’t force you into selling a kidney. Still, it’s always nice to have a look at the more pricey options!
