It’s no surprise that I’d love Trussardi’s SS11 collection… Carrying on from where the label left off with it’s last collection (which I also loved) this collection has the same feel, only a bit more suave and cool. The collection uses a variety of prints and patterns, some of which could potentially be disasters, such as leopard print, leopard prints in leathers, camouflage and african style ndebele prints but they work, and work incredibly well without falling into the common pitfalls of looking cheap etc. I loved the overall classy yet effortless look the collection had, although I was not a major fan of the more sportswear inspired looks. Naturally I am in love with the red motorcycle jacket and the slouchy tee’s. While this is all well above my means, I’m now totally thinking maybe those leopard print keds weren’t so bad after all…
